Announcement resignation of Treasurer   

With regret and respect, I would like to announce the resignation of Ahmad Nadjme as the Treasurer of the Malaysian Association of the Netherlands, due to his busy and challenging schedule. As President of the Malaysian Association of the Netherlands, I respect his decision and effective of July 16, 2010 accept his resignation. On behalf of the Committee Members, I would like to thank him for his past commitment to our Association. We wish Nadjme a continued success in reaching his professional goals. Terima kaseh.

In accordance to Article 9: Election of Executive Committee Members, section 6, (If any Executive Committee member is temporarily unable to perform his/her duties, a replacement may be co-opted by the Executive Committee), the executive committee members will elect an acting Treasurer during our next monthly meeting. Members will be informed as soon as the election has been made.

MA-NL Family Day in the spirit of camaraderie between Malaysians and Dutch families. A social and sportive day for both young and old. BBQ with halal meat and drinks will be sponsored by MANL. As part of Malaysian "semangat bergotong", everyone is welcome to show off their culinary skills by contributing 1 or 2 signature dish to make this event more meaningful. As the event will be held in an open park, do feel free to bring your picnic mats to sit on. Free for members of MA-NL and for non members please make a small donation to MANL to participate in this event:

€10 per family BBQ meat and drinks inclusive

€5 per individual BBQ meat and drinks inclusive
